Our hiring process verifies the references, education, experience, state, local, and FBI background checks for all staff members. But as important as their credentials are, a teacher at Summit Kids Academy needs to share our core values in relation to early childhood education. Love and kindness towards the child, respect for the partnership with parents, a belief in excellence and innovation are the cornerstone to all Summit team members.
All lead teachers hold college degrees or a CDA with plans for continuing their education in the Early Childhood field.
Teacher’s assistants hold a minimum of the state required 45-hour childcare certificate, and also have plans for furthering their education. In addition, at Summit Kids Academy, it is not only the children who are learning but the teachers too! All our teachers participate in educational training programs that far exceed any local or state standards. There are always new ways to tackle today’s issues and we feel it is best to provide our teachers will all the tools possible to help children develop into the best possible versions of themselves.
